Rachel Reenstra

Emmy-nominated host Rachel Reenstra’s uncompromising passion for animals continues to guide all that she does as an entertainer, animal conservationist, personal empowerment coach and philanthropist. Her extensive experience as an actress, host and comedian lends itself perfectly to her current role as the host of ABC's series, “The Wildlife Docs,” which has already garnered three Emmy nominations and continues in its fifth season (with episodes also available on demand via Hulu). Rachel previously hosted the number 1 design show on HGTV, “Designed to Sell.”

Starring in her own series, “Ms. Adventure,” which aired on Animal Planet, Rachel traveled the world, comparing animal and human behavior. She easily concluded that animals are definitely the smarter of the species and her personal preference, though she also has extensive experience with humans, holding a master’s degree in psychology.

She continues to appear in sitcoms, films, national commercials, and does a wide variety of voiceover work. When Rachel has any free time, she often performs standup comedy, inspires audiences via her YouTube channel and emcees corporate and other large events all over the country. As a professional speaker, she loves to appear on behalf of great causes that support our veterans, our wildlife and more with her ultimate message of love.

Rachel was featured on the news show “20/20” for making her dreams come true. Now, her dreams include taking people on life-changing adventures. Her goal: to challenge you both to learn about and get close to nature and wildlife, and thereby to empower you to return home with the tools to fulfill the dreams you cherish for your own life.
